Toyota Recall Impacts 4.1 Million CarsOn January 21, 2010 Toyota announced a second recall on select Toyota models for what the company is referring to as "sticky accelerator pedals" that are stamped with the mark "Toyota CTS". The combination of this recall notice and the one previously announced in November 2009 brings the total models impacted to over 4 million vehicles. If you own a Toyota car from model years 2004 - 2010, visit www.toyotarecall.org to see if your car is included in the recall. Consumers are advised to schedule a service appointment at their local dealer as soon as possible. Effective immediately, Red Bank shoppers can now park anywhere in town on Saturdays and Sundays without having to feed the meter. This is a small but very nice move by Red Bank to get people to come to downtown to shop, eat and drink. Area residents have grown accustomed to being ticketed on the weekends as parking spaces are few and far between on a nice day in Red Bank. It least that 3 dollar cup of coffee will not end up being a $45 cup of coffee during this roll-back period.
